With a population of around 3400 people and
many who commute to Melbourne each day to work, the local Fire Brigade
relies on people who are around during the day as well as those
who can help after hours.( That is what being a volunteer is all
about ). Our membership consists of people dedicated to the protection
of life and property from wildfire and other threats. We have members
of the community who join the brigade to assist in other ways as
well such as, fund raising and social events.
